Greetings,
Duc'. Sorry, I'm a bit befuddled at the questions. From the timbre of said questions and the fact you're posting @ 2:50AM, I suspect your inquiries are being influenced by something other than your inquisitiveness... or perhaps the confusion is at my end? Take care, my friend...

I wrote this under sedation. In 5 months of working with COVID-19 patients, I finally got sick and ended up in the Hospital. I'm fine should be going home soon.

Go figure?

Balance in Life must be impossible for you at this time.

Suggest finding a long term sustainable balanced imbalance regimen occilating between work and recovery.

Hope you find a new normal for whatever you decide to do going forward!

Also, I hope they are making available people to be proactive with PTSD, what with all those thoughts and emotions being stuffed into dark corners to be dealt with later when there’s time to process them.

Don’t need a response to the above...just want you to know people are thinking about you and your workmates.

Ducati, +1 to what Murray said. There are many, many people in this wonderful country of ours who are greatful to you for the care you provide for others.

Thank you so much.

What were you sedated for? Did you shoot yourself up? Why were you in the hospital? Where did you go home to? I thought you slept in a tent in your backyard. Every post you make screams troll to me. The suckers commend you for being in the healthcare field. I don't. You get paid for what you do. If you were an unpaid volunteer I would show you some respect. Under the circumstances I don't.

Nice. Does having zero empathy make your life less complicated, what with that ability to disregard suffering?

Some are not capable of empathy...

Not at all. I just get tired of the dumb a's pulling the sympathy string.

But how do you know who is doing it just for sympathy? I personally give everyone here the benefit of the doubt until I am completely sure they don’t deserve it.

I thought his earlier posts were an attempt to make people realize, especially the Covid-19 doubters, that things can get really ugly really fast. Remember the photo of freezer trucks behind the hospital he was working at containing stacked bodies? Remember how they had to fly in extra funeral directors?

I have not been a member of this forum very long, but thus far, I've formed the general impression that it is a significant "cut above" the morass of social media options out there. I don't do Facebook, but many of my friends and acquaintances do. The sewer of nastiness that can evolve there is absolutely depressing.

I think every good and thorough discussion can be enhanced by a "Black Hat" contributor, GH41, but I'm sorry, I think you've stooped a bit too low on this one!

Form one of his earlier posts.....not all screen names are about the poster....

"My wife says she has little intrest in the ins and outs of the boat mechanics. Did anyone have their spouses, friends or loved ones with them on the survey? I feel she can learn as well. Maybe she'll remember something in the future that I forgot."

Despite what you and GH41 say Ducattihottie is NOT a troll. He is new to boating, unsure about many things, uneasey about the expenses and asks for the forum's help.

To understand what an internet troll is and is not please start here: What is an internet Troll? (and How to Handle Trolls)

Cut him some slack or don't read his posts.
