What a great boat.* She looks much bigger than a 33.* I love the big, covered aft deck.

RE: Photo Gallery - All Members Boats
Don,
With the dinghy hanging on the back I am charged for 40' of boat. The covered cockpit has become our salon since the inside salon/galley is pretty limited. We have less interior room than a Grand Banks 32 but a bigger and covered cockpit and nice covered side decks.**We actually added the hardtop over the cockpit in 2005.* The photo below shows how she originally looked.

You know what's funny, Steppen, all this time I thought your boat had no flybridge. Your avatar and the pic immediately above this post has something in the background that camouflages the flybridge. Anyway, great looking boat!!!

I love this thread!!
Steppen, I am with Baker on this- I never noticed your boat had a bridge! That 2nd pic of your boat underway in Waddington bay....awesome shot. Some of these pics could be on a trawler forum calendar!!! Your boat definitely looks bigger than a 33.
Al- the pics of your 38 are great too.

Al, that is a great looking boat.* Where are the interior shots?* I guess I am a sucker for the Europa sedan style with covered aft and side decks and sloping fashion plates.* Very cool.

RE: Photo Gallery - All Members Boats
Surveyor1, I'd like to ask you a question. What does your hull number start with?
I was told that my 38' FHB was a Nova. When I bought the Boat there was a blueprint - linedrawing of the boat with Nova printed at the bottom (by whoever did the blueprint). But in all my searches I am unable to find anything from the builder to indicate that the Fu Hwa yard produced a 38' Nova.
So I'm interested to see if your Nova starts it's hull number with FHB.

Hi Guys, I'm back.* The shots below are not my boat, but where we've been the last 10 days.* The Pacific Sun out of Sydney.* Great time at Wala Is., Port Vila, & Mystery Islands, of Vanuatu, and Numea (New Caledonia).* Good to be back tho.* Al, that boat of yours sold/still sells here in Oz as the Mariner 39.* Lovely boat, and one I would love if opportunity presented to go up in size.

Here is da boat. 32 ft built by Donald Jones of Tacoma 1974. Commercial Salmon Troller.* Now my toy. At least that is what my S.O. says whenever I go work on her.
She is an old boat that nothing work's on her but me.*
