Tuggy. I like the simple look and raised pilot house. Also, my fav colors blue and white.

Tortuga, my 1936 Nunes Brothers Raised Deck Cruiser, hanging on my mooring yesterday. She is 32'8" long, planked with Douglas Fir over laminated oak frames, with an African Mahogany cabin house. The power comes from a Volvo-Penta D2-40 diesel.

What is her beam? She's a beauty. Raised deck and upright windshield just gets me.

If I was to ever get a really big boat it would probably be a Selene. I think they may actually be FD too. Don’t like the PO slanted windows though. Both fwd and aft. Looks better on the Sundancer. Those big windows under the bridge must be on the sides of the engine room. Work’in on your mechanicals and watching the view. I could get used to that. Those engine beds and mount supports are very impressive. Stiff enough plus and much vibration could be stopped at the source. Did you once have a Willard?

1978 34 CHB tri-Cabin. Done some sailing in the North West from Campbell River, Lund, Powell River, Pender Harbour and now Gibson to her new berth. Took her fishing and caught a tasty salmon for dinner! Yahoo!

Nomad Willy, Yes, Kika has a full displacement hull. LOA 50’-10”. Those 4 ports you mentioned, they open to the starboard located heads (guest + master). And, yes, our previous boat was Northstar, a Willard 40 that we owned for decade. The Selene 47 has been a pleasure to own and improve. Not too big, not too small for a couple and perfect for long term cruising.

It’s a Bruno-Stillman hull and was built from the bare hull up by an individual and his wife. 7 years and about 18,000 hrs. There are pictures of the interior in the albums section of this site. Thank you for the compliment.

The center queen bed is a big improvement over the earlier layout. Such a skookum looking vessel

Boat volume and railings are at least 30% greater than my 35-foot Coot. Undoubtedly, the engine has engine air pumps providing much more power than my 80-hp naturally-aspirated diesel.
