Here are a couple of pics of the repair - area repaired (gelcoat & glass ground out & re glassed & filled / faired is just below the port side fender.
Repaint was done 2 wks ago and I plan to wait 1-2 mos before buffing what little spray fog there is - if you get close repair area is barely noticeable but that's due to my lest than perfect body work... I am extremely pleased w/ the paint match. I had a buddy w/ a good spray gun do it for me but in a pinch I'd try a PreVal aerosol sprayer and I think w/ a little practice one could do a fair job. That's what I used ahead of time for priming to be ready the day he showed up. I did have the benefit of fine sanding after priming.
Choice of break point helps hide the repaint - I ran from waterline up to the contour change about 10" below the rubrail so match lines are vertical in the area roughly at ends of the fender.
