As a brand new member, I am posting the following question in hopes others have solved this problem. I purchased a new Ongaro heavy duty motor and pantagraph wiper arm for my 34 Albin. It comes at a pre-set 110 degree sweep angle but needs to be changed to 40 or 50 degrees. The instruction sheet makes it sound simple but the reality is far from simple. The pre-selected 110 degree hole on the plastic plate has an indent for the arm/pin but the other holes do not. Has anyone else been faced w a similar Ongaro challenge. My mechanic said each manufacturer has slightly different approaches to setting sweep angles and he is not familar w Ongaro. His experience with wiper angles has led to different swear words.

Good point. That is exactly what I thought. After two attempts calling the tech number with no answer and no response (two messages left) I decide to reach out to the forum. Someone in the world must have dealt with this before. I can’t be the first.
