Check the RV sites , they use a fabric that blocks most of the sun , but still can be seen thru to look out.

My wife made shades that go on the outside of the boat. She used phifertex plus. Keeps the sun off of the windows. You can see out in the day and not in. We even leave them on when we are using the boat.
