Remarks: Part cloudy and sunny am day, very pleasant evening, around 74F. Had a pancake breakfast put on by Les & Toni. Walked up to the dam/lake for a few pics. Visited Nearly Normal Norman at his “museum”. Met Herb Carpenter the HarborMaster and owner of the ship ways – Turns out that Herb was raised at Kodiak, and could remember one of our old Edmonds neighbors who managed a cannery at Kodiak (Larsen Bay) starting back in 1949 (Herb was 15 years old then). Herb was the oldest of 8 brothers, but the only one who went fishing, and the only one still alive – He credits a fish diet for his longevity. Fog patches moved in around 1930, the call of the loon was very loud in Kwakume Inlet. DM41.6TM3291.1
