Cosinalaska, welcome to TF. We are friendly bunch. Most of us can be a bit light-hearted on most subjects, most of the time (other than anchors of course which is deadly serious).

Two suggestions you may want to consider;

1. Don’t be easily annoyed by others and give any poster that does annoy you the benefit of the doubt as to their intent.

2. Try not to be excessively annoying. I think in this case, your two posts would qualify as excessively annoying.

However, I am happy to give you the benefit of the doubt and assume that you missed the humorous intent of the post and must have been having bad indigestion at the time.
