Hello to all of the members. I am looking to change my lifestyle and buy a 40' live aboard to use in possibly the Caribbean or west coast area(or both). I will be single handed on the boat. I am looking at something that will be economical to operate as I am not in a hurry to go anywhere. Still I am thinking that a twin engine would be more safe. I don't know if buying in California and cruising around to the Caribbean is a viable option or just to buy in the gulf area and forget about the west coast idea. Can anyone give me some idea of what type of boat I should look at first.
