Happy for you...
Yeah, kind of like pajamas, eh? Yes I believe it will stay on while inside the ship. I wrote it in the contract that the boat had to go inside the ship. There is a boat here in Seattle that was shipped outside with the containers, and it sustained some damage in a storm (not a Hampton).

Exciting stuff!

We just missed this:

Preliminary Itinerary for East Coast Rendezvous - Hampton Yacht Group

I don't know how many boats showed up but from what I heard, it was held at the same place as the Ft. Lauderdale International Boat Show - Bahia Mar marina.

Bahia Mar is just one of the marinas of FLIBS.

Well, new arrival date range is May 18-20. For some IDIOTIC reason (lol) the ship is going to Vancouver before Seattle. Glad it has cleared Japanese waters though.

If you had my luck there would be a longshoremen strike the day it showed up.

I think so! Although, this past winter, there have been so many days that would be just fine for boating in our boat.

When we were waiting on a new build and close to the date we really had to keep busy with other things to occupy our minds. We made that last couple of weeks two of the busiest weeks we could have.

I suppose I should be crazed for her to arrive, but I'm not. I have done a lot of big projects in my life. All the planning part is super fun. But then when the time comes to launch the business, or dig the first hole, or land that plane the first time.... reality sets in.

I have a lot to learn!

I also kind of thought that with 10 months I'd have every single duck in a row when this moment came. All that I needed to accomplish would be taken care of. I suppose I have done a great deal, but I'll be winging it with lots of things.

But at least my apron arrived yesterday, that's a pretty important item to cross off the list, right?
