Thanks Richard, the detached view so to speak makes Harvey and Irma seem so simple when they weren't.
 
The way I see it, with all those storms originating off the west coast of Africa, if we get rid of Africa we'll get rid of the storms.

Great link. The Santa Rosa, CA fires show up well in the month of October.

There sure is a vast amount of dust/sand set adrift off the west coast of Africa. That's a lot of good particulate matter for the formation of storms.
