Is it bad luck to change your boats name without telling your wife.

Did you rename it after an old, or current girlfriend?

Not if you change it to a word, phrase, catch line, song or play-on-words that have some very specific, romantic meaning for the two of you.

Just needed a good laugh. You guys are always entertaining.
We are thinking about it though

It is fun but you have us at a bit of a disadvantage. You haven't filled out your profile so we don't know much about you or what kind of boat ya have. Currently all we know is you've been a member since Sept 2011. Let us in on a few details and perhaps we can suggest new names for you.

Now that could be good for a lot of laughs.

It`s probably worse changing your wife`s name without telling the boat.

Real bad luck. To change boats without telling your wife.

Unless your wife hates good parties, don't leave her out of the fun.

One of our best boat parties was the renaming ceremony while swinging on anchor. We had over 20 friends on board with the boat ringed in dinghies.:dance::dance:

Many great stories and laughs are still shared today among those who were there. Whatever you do, don't forget the requirement for a virgin to pee in the hull during the ceremony. Hard to find in some parts of this great country of ours, but well worth the trouble! :thumb: :D
