Moonrise and moonset

The sunrise and sunset thread has some really great shots. Then someone mentioned moonrise shots. Very hard to capture, but it's possible. Most of the shots I've taken, both still and video, haven't turned out very well. I'll start it off with a recent one that did turn out OK. It's a little video we shot last summer at Prevost Harbor on Stuart Island (one of the San Juan Islands).

That is a great video. I love the harvest moon and one year I was on a small hill in western Oklahoma and I could see probably 20 miles and I shot the moon rising over oil drilling rigs. It was a great shoot.
