Does anyone have any information about OFFSHORE YACHTS INTL, LTD (OYI). My boats MIC starts with their code but something doesn't mesh. Documentaion states that it was built by Miracle Marine Company (MMC). Confused! Was one a builder and the other a broker?

Offshore is a brand of boats imported from Taiwan, built under contract in different yards. Many were built in the President yard which also built Little Harbor, some of the early Marlows, Krogen Express and others.
Miracle might be a yard in Taiwan, but I am not familar with it, it might be the name of the importer. It also might be that Miracle built the hull and it was finished in another yard.

My PT overseas was built by OYI. There is some info in the Taiwanese forum below. Also search for an article online called venerable Taiwanese trawlers. A few yards in Taiwan put out a whole lot of different brands with different yards sometimes putting out the same brands depending on demand.
