The windscreen on fly bridge is cracked in four places and needs repair or replacement. Has anyone done either? Any feedback appreciated.

I had one done on my flybridge-not a mainship-make a pattern out of old windshield and cut to fit-mine was plexiglass and could get the bend by heating with a heat gun. Really wasn't that hard. It was made in 3 sections with the front foot and a half and the 3 foot long sides one piece and they were attached to a center pc with 3/8 inch starboard slotted to fit the edges of the plexiglass into it.
