Mainship 30' Trawler

Well folks, I finally found a trawler I like, (it took a while to get over sailing.) I found a 1982 Mainship 30' because i don't want anything too big. It appears to be in fine shape. Anything I should be looking for other that the usual? Does 20k sound fair? Any tips would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Look for rot. Rot it the decks, rot in the side decks, rot in the cockpit, rot underneath the leaking windows inside the cabin. Any boat that old will have some. It is all a question of how much and where and can you live with it. It is rarely economical to have a yard repair it.
