Just When I Thought it Was Safe...

...To plan to float serenely into the sunset and eventually give up boating when I get too silly to fix things or dodge rocks, I find out there is a Gwaii Haanas 2 out there doing the job of my old lump. She had a galley fire in 2016 and has just been refit so it will be in better shape than mine was (I hope) when she's due to be passed to me. She's 20 meters by 5 and actually looks like a boat although the red paint will get old in a hurry and she's STEEL! Rats. I'll also have to clear off all those crewmembers, I usually only take one.

Is she near you? It would be fun to take a tour of the newly redone boat.

I hope not because I wouldn't want them to see MY boat!
