Italian Marina Waterspout

Definately a pucker moment. Again no serious injuries reported, and minimal damage to businesses and cars- but no mention of the boats seen bouncing around.

Damn, I lived in that marina for three years. Thats the "old port" on the western side, the new marina is just to the east.

Hi, look like funel clound (minimal huriganes type cyclons efect)

They are uncommon here, fortunately they move slowly, can dodge at sea.

In this video (Finland, Velkua), the water statue begins to form a funnel cloud up from the sea toward the sky

This video was also shot in the same marina, I was a couple boats away from where this was shot, on the right. Note the rock lining of the inner sea wall, then at about the 3 min mark you can see the wall breaking up and the stones being washed into the inner hrbr.

Another vid, same marina, different storm I think.

Another

The first winter we were along the wall, the next two winters we moved to an inner slip, didn't get the direct hit from waves but still had a lot of surge.
Then around New years of third year had a calm weather break and shifted the boat east to Genoa for a few months before making the run down to Palma.
