Heritage East Trawlers

I have found a couple of Heritage East Trawlers, one local. Wondering if there is any experience here with these and might comment on their suitability for coastal cruising, weekend day trips, fuel economy, resale value, general overall construction comments. I found one 44, doesn't look like there is a lower helm. This is a nice 42' 1989 below with a lower helm.

Our boat (pictured) was marketed as a Heritage 45. Not sure of any connection the Heritage East boat you referenced. My understanding is that our Heritage was a product of a boat broker in Long Beach who commissioned 22 boats like ours from a builder in Taiwan in the early 80s. I been looking for 25 years and have seen only one other like ours. That's about the sum total of my knowledge. Good luck.

just saw one at Mission Bay Yacht Club, San Diego. Nice looking boat!
