Does anybody here have a boat with a pipe davit rated for 1000 lbs? Better yet 1200-1500? Whenever I search online, they tend to stop at 1000lbs, then go to crane. I definitely don't want to pay crane $$$$$.
My skiff is minimum 900lbs...but could easily be 100-200 more. So even a 1000lb davit would be pushing it. Curious if anybody with a 700+ lb tender is using a pipe davit?
Also does anybody know of a shop in South FL that makes davits?
