NW Explorations | Charters, Marine Services and Yacht Sales

We have bareboat chartered a 46 Grand Banks and will be doing the Alaska tour captaining this exact boat named Exact on leg 6 July 30th to August 11th:

CHARTERS - NW Explorations

So, this will be my first experience like it, and with a mother goose, and others along I hope to stay out of trouble.

Any experience with this group or this passage would be appreciated. Check out these videos.

I haven't chartered with them but keep my boat near their docks. I see their operation every day and know many of their employees, as well the original owner. I'd give them high marks on all counts, from my perspective. I've also seen their flotillas in action, in Alaska, when I was there in my boat. A well-run operation and their clients seem happy by all appearances. Most of their boats are GB's..

You should have a great time. They are pros.

I am planning on a similar charter perhaps in 2022. I have heard nothing but great things about this organization. Which particular leg did you pick?

Never been with them, but did run across them in an anchorage one night on the mid coast of BC. They seemed to run a great operation and seemed very professional. The leader of the group even dinghied over to our boat to make sure we were OK with their setup, positioning, etc. I found that very refreshing and unexpected. I don't know if they always do that, but they did that night. I saw nothing but big smiles on the faces onboard the GB's in their fleet that night.
