Hamburg Boat Show

Much like a Florida boat show on much smaller scale.

I liked the anchor sand pit Ultra had. They had scale models of most anchors.
I did a bunch of one to one comparisons.

The Ultra was best, but clearly the course grained sand was optimized for it.

Delta did very well.

Rocha and Bruce and plow about the same.

CQR the worst.

I forgot how the fortress was. About in the middle.

I'll post pic in next post.

There are some handsome boats in that group. They have the look of well constructed vessels. Pipistrello could go in the "Interesting Boats" thread. Thanks for giving us a glimpse.

Pipistrello is most likely Dutch built. There is/are yard(s) that build boats to have traditional appearance, but new and with all the modern systems of course. Dauntless, did you happen to catch the name of the yard?

The anchor on "Pipistrello" is just about like my Dreadnought.
