*Thanks John.

We are giving up sailing to become river rats. Gettin' to that age where the Admiral is not comfortable in open water any more.

I love the sensation of sailing, however, I love river travel better because of the view.

I dated a gal in Tom's River back in my college days. I'm orig from Bklyn.

Sooooooooo......hopefully you faired well during the storm?

Tony B

Oh, by the way....I'm at work now. That was photo'd this morning from a BP oil and gas platform.

Anyone else with "Good Morning" photos feel free to jump in.

Cool pics- that ride down to the water in that lifeboat looks like it would be "interesting" and end with a bumpy landing!

Just before I pulled anchor in a series of islands called the Wallace Group close to the top of Johnstone Strait. I've posted this before but it's been a long time ago. And it's my best early morning shot. So good morning to everyone from Beautiful British Columbia.

Are you on the Ram? I've been wanting to snatch some wahoo and tuna up one day soon but haven't gotten any good reports yet.

Good Morning from ..........

I am on the BP Pompano. Lots of tuna jumping in the mornin at times. I am not a fisherman, so I have to ask the other guys what things are. There are always lots of sharks out here also. When the hammerheads come, they come by the hundreds.

BTW Paul, what marina do you stay in?

I liked Gulfport the best but moved to Point Cadet Marina to live aboard. Then moved my boat to Oak Harbor Marina for a few years before Katrina hit.

RE: Good Morning from ..........

A great winter morning sunrise over Spring Lake which connects into Lake Michigan via the Grand River. This area has 4 vibrant seasons, all very different and all very beautiful.

This is the time of year you begin to think about getting your boat out of heated storage for an early splash.

RE: Good Morning from ..........

Wow * ....That red is fantastic Don. We don't get anywhere near that much red up here.*

Fly, *That is truly arid. I love to go into the desert *...briefly.

Laker, that looks a bit like Thorne Bay but without those pesky 22' tides.

Walt, I remember riding up there on my motorcycle in the early 60s. La Jolla was extremely neat and tidy and clean and warm and sunny. Brings back memories. Nice ones.

Here's a sunrise about as red as it gets in SE Alaska.

At a certain time in the morning, we get a lot of this effect as our dock faces west. *It's not pure nature, but I'm really grateful to wake-up to this wonderful cove where you never know what may have anchored overnight.
