Hello everybody,

Sunny winter in the Canarias but busy as well...

Pictures of my last install ( following clever advice from Steve d'Antonio published in Passagemaker): a centrifugal separator GEA Westfalia OTC 2 with the pump ( 1000L /hour) and the three phases electric box in addition of the GFC fuel polishing system already fitted on Balder VIII.

The steel frame has been welded in the engine room, work done by excellent Garinox team, Alexi and his brother from Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
This install can be dismantled for heavy maintenance on the aquadrive coupling under.
Following recommandations from efficient GEA specialists, feed of pump and return to the three tanks ( I have no day tank) are separate from general three ways manifold ( main engine - GFC polishing and transfer pump - Norther light diesel genny).

Fortunately, on each tank, connections were available...

nb: Sorry Mrs Greta, I know you should prefer see tons of lithium batteries instead of this OTC2 and mysterious new hydrogen tanks but I still need this diesel fuel to move my 55 tons steel blue water trawler far from the marinas...and I need it clean and reliable without water and bacterias...

Hi,

I have also the GCF for oil with a valve installed on my JD 6081 AFM 75. Very happy also with this product.

It was not easy and a little bit expansive to buy and import in Europe new filters from US, but I understood reading forums that Bounty roll papers can be used and it works well keeping the plastic house and the sock.
