Can you run 2 gms10 in series? I have 7 network connections or is their another solution?

Absolutely. As I understand it, it's effectively just a five-port 100Mbps Ethernet switch; it's non-fan-cooled and has Garmin's water-resistant connectors. The instructions show exactly this; using two of these to expand beyond the capability of one unit.


You could use almost any other Ethernet switch, with the caveat that it either not have POE (power over Ethernet) or it have the ability to only enable it on a per-port basis where needed.
