Garmin 440s upgrade

Does anyone know what garmin units that have much larger screens will plug and play with the 440s? I am going through a repower, upgrading my bow thruster and the new engine gauges will require reorganization of the dash. I do not want to blow anymore money here and would even consider sourcing a unit on ebay if it would easily install. The unit I currently have has ais and depth on it and I would really just like something with a larger screen to get by for now so I can add a radar that works better.

Your best bet is ebay. If I remember the 440S & 540S (and 545S) used the same plugs but they don't have a network port for a radar. You could buy a later model but you'd need to buy an adapter to change the 6-pin transducer plug used by the 440S. If you want to add radar, you would need to find a used 740S. It would use your existing transducer. You should be able to find one in the $250-$350 range.
