Anyone here - or at least within striking distance of Port Ludlow, WA - selling their boat by owner? The 5th Annual FSBO Boat Show is this Saturday. Cost is just $15 to put your boat on the FSBO dock. It's not open to brokers, however, if you do have your boat listed with one you can still bring it to the show provided you the owner is onboard to answer questions.
We don't have anything to do with the show, other than the fact we live here in the marina and will have a table at the marine swap meet which is held on shore at the same time.
I've been told they usually get a ton of people looking at boats on the docks and quite a few on trailers in the parking lot (I wasn't here for it last year as I was in Oakland working the Strictly Sail Pacific show). Evidently they sell a couple of boats from this show each year, so it could be pretty good exposure.
