48' Golden Egg Harbor
We (3 Cousins and I) took the Egg out from Everett to PA, out into the straights, and hit a few banks looking for Halibut. We did land a few, but nothing noteworthy. All in all it was 190 miles and about 420 gallons of fuel, average speed was 18mph.
We stayed at Port Angels Wed-Fri and hit up Port Hudson on Saturday.

We did help out the Coast Guard off of PA looking for a 18' Bayliner that lost power and lost radio contact, it was foggy/windy and a little sporty out. We each did the zig zag patterns for about an hour. The CG found them first and towed them in. I was very happy they were found, it was not good conditions out.

The boat ran well, we did find the house battery's were not up to the task of running everything as long as they should, they are about 5 years old, so its time to replace them.

Besides Friday afternoon in PA the weather was near perfict, nice flat water, a little fog in the am. Got to see a few grays on the way back in.
Had a change to talk with a few Gooyduck harvesters, interesting bunch of guys for sure!
