Just came through the C and D canal at the top of the Delaware bay and came
across this salvage effort
According to news reports a local fire boat was going to fast hit the rock pier and went down injuring 3 on board
The boat they were looking for was later found with no problems
As a former sheriff it is sad when rescuers become part of the emergency when there is no reason for it. We use to drill that on to new deputies heads everyday
