Experience with Brokers

Just curious, for those who have used a broker to sell a boat, what was the communication like between you and the broker? How often did you speak, what types of updates did you get from the broker, etc.

My broker did a debrief with me every Monday. My broker knew I was a two boat owner and wanted my boat sold fast. He knew I was very reasonable on the price but I wasn’t willing to give it away. It took 2 months to sell the boat and we had activity on it every week. Now if I was looking for top dollar a much longer time line would be needed and a once a month debrief would probably be adequate.
