Dual fuel filters

The friendliest place on the web for anyone who enjoys boating.
If you have answers, please help by responding to the unanswered posts.
If I want to see if the vacuum gauge is working, I close the valve to the fuel tank momentarily and watch the needle on the gauge rise.

VERY true :thumb:

Good info. Sounds like I will need a valve in front of the filters as well.

There should be a valve on the tank to shut fuel off.

Has anyone with a craft that has low fuel consumption and a vacuum gauge like Codger described have the same results with no vacuum registering?
If I had a boat with very low fuel consumption and wanted a duel filter on it, I'd buy a Duel Racor 500 and if the gauge scale is too high, I'd swap it out for a gauge that measures vacuum in the range I desire. Now, that's what I'd do but there are many other ways to skin this cat as have been mentioned in this thread.
