We had less daylight today than yesterday, and it will be going down from here!

Get your boating in while you can!

You guys in the north have been hogging it lately. We're starting to take a bit back.

I had a darkroom job at the local newspaper one winter. I'd get up in the dark, work in the dark for 8 hours, then go home in the dark.

Murray, I can relate to that. When I was in the USAF in AK in the 70s I worked on classified electronics. Not a big deal but we worked in a building that did not have windows. In the winter I'd go to work in the dark and go home in the dark. If I didn't go outside for lunch I'd never have seen the sun. It came up around 10:00 and went down about 1:30 - 2:00. I got used to it. It drove my wife nuts.

I used to work on the North Slope. Drilling wildcats. The sun broke the horizon in February... In the summer, we couldn't find curtains thick enough!
