Console/Leaning Post Plans

Greetings all,

I had the center console and leaning post stolen out of a 17' Apex inflatable I bought for general messing around. The value of the boat does not justify the cost of a new console or leaning post so I would like to build my own. I realize that by the time I count my labor new is probably cheaper. Craigslist has a few but are too big for the boat.

However looking on line for DIY plans has not revealed much. I did find some drawings with measurements for the console that I can scale from but not much of anything on the leaning post. Does anyone have a source?

The steering and binnacle controls went with the console. The wiring harness for the 90 hp Johnson was ruined as well so looking for replacements for them too.

I'd hit up the consignment shops for everything you are looking for. The ones in Wickford are usually pretty well stocked.
