Cleaning stainless grill?

I've got a Magma Newport we're not using anymore. I'd like to clean it up before I pass it along to some friends. It's not filthy but I'm wondering what products should or shouldn't be used to clean it. Both the interior of the grill and the stainless grates. I know not to use the oily stainless cleaners sold for household appliances, as they leave a residue.

Any useful suggestions?
