Clamp Clips

I came across this link on another site. Looks like a great idea. Might have saved my hands some wear and tear last weekend. I ordered some to give them a try.

Notice - no loose end to snag your hand ! The clips can be added to any 1/2" hose clamp (you have to loosen ones already installed).

After you install the clamp can the "tail" slide back and forth to make little adjustments? How can it be removed? I think I'd rather just have the right size. One can put a slight bend in the tail or even tape them down. I don't have a problem w them and I'm not sure why. I need to go over my whole system now and I'll take stock.
