California Tax Exemptions on Boat Purchases

I ran across an excellent summary of sale/use taxes and tax exemptions for California boaters. This topic comes up regularly here on TF and there are always lots of opinions.

Nice summary. The length of time outside the state must have changed since I last did this n 2019. It has changed before too, so it is worth checking the current rules. Was 90 days long ago, then changed to 1 year, then back to 6 months, now apparently 1 year again.
