I used some today to remount my air horns. That stuff is terrific.
That interesting... I just used some of mine today as well sealing holes mounting a replacement Nav light!

When you have two big rolls of the stuff, you use it on everything!

Lost a part in the bilge?

Need to hold a screw on the end of your screwdriver?

Something needs a little vibration insulator?

After a while, you start looking for ways to use all this butyl tape you've got!

I even sent some to some TFer when he just needed a foot or two. No telling how you'll use it...

I used both. Where teak meets deck or teak, 4000UV or Sika equivalent. Where SS plate meets teak, quality butyl tape.

Yo, Al!

Here's photo of 1976 "painted" cable from GGB. Imagine that is gorrect color from that time period. No paint insignia on it. Photos straighten up for me when I punch em up!

Hope this helps.

On my new pressure washer the manufacturer put the drain hole on the chassis about 1/2” off from the drain in the engine. So when you pull the plug oil would run all over the chassis. So with the Bed it Butyl I made a dam to direct the oil to the drain hole. Worked great and only took a minute to fix it.
