I just rotate in my photo album on my iPhone or iPad and make a slight adjustment to the photo so it allows me to save the changes. I just forgot to do it before posting photos last night.

Picked up a comforter set at sams in Fort Myers. I don’t like those molded fitted covers that came with the boat. Originally I thought I’d move this to the VIP stateroom when we got home and I’d get something better for our bed, but this is really soft and comfy. I think I’ll keep it on our bed. I have a ton of throw pillows at home to pretty it up.

Ah, South Seas Resort on Captiva. We took a Colgate sailing course there on a long weekend a few years ago. Beautiful place, manatees everywhere, had a room with louvered doors to the balcony over the water, ahhh. Didn't even mind the astronomical prices and $9 cup of coffee. We had such a good time, good memories. You're right too, more expensive boats squeezed into the relatively small yacht basin than I had seen in a long time, but fun to window shop. I remember at night so many of them had colored LED exterior and underwater lights glowing that the marina looked like a dance set from the movie Xanadu. Pretty.

Guess what wasn’t on the boat that we didn’t even think about until a little bit ago....a deck fitting key for the fuel, water, and waste caps.
Needle nose pliers to the rescue until we can find one. The little store here doesn’t have any.

I’ll be looking for y’all on the lake. My slip is on the Blood River (Lake Ponchartrain to Lake Maurepas to Tickfaw River to Blood River). Have a blast on the shakedown cruise.

LOL Dont feel bad. My AT34 is in a marina surrounded by multi million dollar condos and BIG boats.
Just consider you have less upkeep and you will use your boat more often than the owners use their BIG boats.
I guess I will just have to single-hand this boat because I cannot find a beautiful woman who will tolerate me.
Hmmm, maybe I can go to a bar at closing time and shanghai a woman. LOL

It is a very nice place. We haven’t gone to the other side of the island. There’s trolleys to take you there.
Haven’t seen any manatees yet, but watched a couple of porpoises playing this morning.
The resort is no cash, no credit cards...they give you a key card to charge everything to. They put a $450 hold on our card.

Hey Star. Looked up your boat make and model. Nice! Is the forward berth considered the master or is it supposed to be the midship berth? Are you guys planning to live aboard or use it for a weekender?

That's a fun trip. We're in Bay Saint Louis and we make that run a lot.

At my age, pretty much all the ladies are jail bait.
I'll be 75 in May.

The forward berth is called the VIP stateroom and the Master is midship as is the other berth.
The layout is what we love about the boat and the speed. This boat has really good engines that are in great shape but it needs a little work cosmetically. We’ll tackle that a little at a time.
No we are not planning to live aboard. But we plan to use it a lot!

Let’s see if this works. Just a little video of the pelicans eating fish scraps.
We’ve decided to stay here another night and not travel in the rain.

No the error was "format not supported" not crap. That is usually a different error or editorial comment.

Beautiful boat. Cruisers doesn't get a lot of attention outside their region and that's unfortunate. They've been around since the early 1900's but they went through such a series of ownership changes that they got a bit lost until coming back on the 90's under the Cruisers name. All the time they've been in Wisconsin.
I think they get overlooked too because of the question "what are they?" or "What kind of boats do they build?" Well, at this point they really target the Sea Ray type buyer who wants something different with a complete line from 23 to 60'. They've always been considered a quality builder. I think your 50SS is a nice boat and a great design, one builders are really struggling to replicate today, to build a 50' boat for cruising and even living aboard with three staterooms and good living space and the ability to cruise at various speeds.

3 staterooms? You have way too many friends unless they are buying the food and fuel LOL
