Bow noise

Hi, as ex-sailers we just bought a Swift Trawler 50 but we are surprised about the noise the waves makes against the bow when we are on anker (tok-tok/bonk-bonk/clotch-clotch...)

Any solutions??

This is why I bought a boat with the master stateroom aft. My wife was wondering why I was adamant about it. Now she knows.

We own a Swift Trawler 50 and I'm wondering why you're sleeping in the VIP? The master in our boat is in the aft cabin which sits lower in the water and is mostly quiet while at anchor. We do use a Mantus anchor bridle and while I don't know that it does much to reduce any chine or wave slap, I know that it does a great job of protecting our windlass.

My best advice is to sleep in the aft cabin and leave the VIP for guests if/when you have them. Feel free to reach out if you have any more questions. We've had our ST50 for a little more than a year and we're loving her!
