Great porn, David. I can almost feel the wood on those last few pics.

Where are all the lobster pot buoys?

Mio Amor IV is a 1960 Riva Aristion. This is a rare, unusual and gorgeous craft.

It was a recently restored by Macatawa Bay Boat Works. The link below is a very complete pictorial of the hull process. The hull framing and hull siding work is meticulous. I believe it is owned by a Detroit GM professional.

Riva Restoration 1960 Riva Ariston

The stories of discovery and restoration of these woodies are fascinating. You can spend hours with each owner learning so much.

Here is another site that you will enjoy. http://classicyacht.org/

When on Lake Union we had several of the PNW Classic boats moored close by and the marina we where on sold larger older classic boats/yachts, so we were required to keep the Eagle in bristol condition. I have alway like the larger classic boats, especialy motor sailors, but they are a full time job to maintain/take care of.

Sorry. Best I can do is this picture of a present we were given by a former member of this forum. They are affectionately referred to as "Walt's Balls".

We have a bare chest mermaid for the bow, which my wife would not allow me to hang. So it in salon with a towel top covering her chest, which makes for a good conversation. A sister 58 has a mermaid on the bow that spurt water out of her ah/errr. They say its an anchor wash down?
