I buy a lot of boating magazines but I only read the articles. Honest.

Then I bought a boat that could safely and comfortably do all that.

and my dreams were shattered!!!

Because I realized that it wasn’t having the “right” boat that was holding me back, it was me, my life, and the needs of my famly that were keeping me from being the wanderlust free spirit I always wanted to be.

I wait patiently for retirement, just a few short years away, and don’t look at yachtworld anymore.

So true Kevin. I have the boat, but don't yet have the unencumbered time.

Nope. Not guilty. I am, however, addicted to TF and 3 other boating sites and tend to log into each of them 2-3 times a day.

Boat porn yep I've sinned and fallen short. Youtube, Yachtworld, boats.com, Craigslist, Ebay, newspaper ads, you name it. Love walking the docks and boat yards looking at boats and meeting the people that own them. I peek so I know what I want when the time comes I retire. Got it pretty well narrowed down.

My wife hates it. I send her links to boats all the time and all she says is "Again?" and usually doesn't even look at the link.

Since Boat Trader and Yacht World has been taken over by spam bots, I don't get to look at much. Could be a good thing since the price has dropped on 2 boats I really like!

I am quite vocal about my boat porn addiction. Whether it be going down to the local marine or spending a night paroozing the seemingly endless pages of yachtworld, I spent quite a lot of time looking at boats. I find it encroaching on my studies these days... which isn't a bad thing considering I study yacht design

Been visiting this thread for its life... so far. Wondered what I'd say. Came to me today.

Forever being on a boat one way or the other; brought up as such... I became a boat [pleasure marine doings] addict when in my early single digit years.

Porn... well yes... that term can be added here too. However, "addict" seems to carry its own power and ample weight... regarding marine doings that is!
