Not me, though. I'll stick to my fair weather motor boating in protected waters, thank you very much!

Fabulous video. I totally agree about sticking to relatively protected waters. The video brings back memories of my North Sea hurricane encounter. I was a lot younger then and on a 311 ft DE. This video gives some idea of what its like but without the surreal wind howling and the amazing smashing and tossing about it is not the full experience.

Watching that makes me feel like a wimp. Those guys really faced the sea head on.

Different era, then. Two lost overboard. No turning back, they did not even discuss it. Carry on. Nowadays the whole fleet of whatever would be dispatched for a search.

No kidding!! I don't go on my flybridge if the wind is over 20 kts or the waves are over 3 ft.

What a great video of a time and quality of mariner long lost.
