Beam of a GB 42 Europa

Hi Guys, does anybody know when Grand Banks changed the beam and length of the 42 Europa?

This is not official but from memory 1996 sounds about right. See below

Can't speak authoritatively on the Europa, but the 42 Classic (we had hull 1169 a'91 boat) was 13'6". The wider hull came with the Bigger Cat engines which I think may have been in '93.

One more data point to add, I have a 1996 boaters buyers guide book and a change for the Europa is not mentioned. It does note the hull changes for the 36 and 42 classic but not the 42 Europa.

Grand banks changed the beam of the hull of the 42 somewhere during 1990 based on the information I found when I was looking to purchase one. Six inches were added to the beam. The hull of the classic and europa are identical. I've seen 1990 'models' showing either the 13.5 or 14' beam, but by 1991 its 14' (+/-).

According to the guide in my previous post the Europa was not built from 91 to 95.
