Baltimore MD surveyors

Looking for recommendations on good marine surveyors in the Baltimore area. Steel hull experience. I'm a newbie, so don't I need some kind of ultrasound for an old steel hull to gauge thickness?

Do I need an engine survey on a newer (2008) JD engine with 1400 hours?
