The water level between Norfolk and Albemarle sound is down over four feet due to the low pressure system off the eastern seaboard. This will make travel a little sketchy between these locations...

These photos were taken at Mile Marker 12 at Great Bridge, VA.

Water levels fell another foot yesterday. I heard that the Great Bridge Lock is not opening due to the high water level on the north side. Looking like this will not change until Friday or Saturday.

We’re facing the opposite in Deltaville. Was on a fixed dock for work. (Now on floating). Dock was totally awash at the high tides. Runs for travel lifts wet as well.

And offshore, right now the entire east coast from Fort Lauderdale to Portland is basically unfit for recreational boating with 8' to 16' seas.

Water level at Atlantic Yacht Basin dropped another 4” yesterday . . . Only 1 tow and 1 Down East trawler went through the locks yesterday . . . We need water!

Looks like the water rose over a foot overnight... boats are beginning to move again at ICW Mile Marker 12... Great Bridge... AYB
