Anyone navigate with Garmin Echomap plus?

Tried the electronics forum with no takers. PO installed the Echomap Plus 93sv.
He was a PNW fisherman so it made sense. How good is that system for basic chart plotting in the PNW? I haven't seen the system yet to check it out.

I do everything with Navionics on an iPad. I have full traditional electronics on board...but Navionics kills 'em all in features (auto-routing, ETA calc, great charts) and Apple-inspired ease of use.

I have been playing with Navionics on my laptop and phone using their chart plotter. It is very impressive. i figured it would come in handy as a backup, but might end up being primary.
