Anyone know what this boat is ?

My son spotted this on Green Lake, Wisconsin. He sent it to me thinking I would know 'cause I used to drive green boats in the Navy. This is not from the Brown Water Navy inventory (past or present) that I'm aware of. Any ideas ?

Thanks but nope, RT - I spent my formative years on PeeBars - too much freeboard and not enough beam to my eye. You very occasionally see demilitarized PBRs on the Gulf Coast. They practically gave them (hulls) away at surplus auctions in the 70s. 35' Uniflite F/G hull with HD aluminum frame. It may be somebody's idea of a clone or tribute (like the GTOs that ain't GTOs) inspired by Apocalypse Now.

I think you are correct, somebodies custom vision of a patrol boat.

There was a period of time when several companies were offering stealth boats for law enforcement for drug interdiction that kind of look like this. But that didn't last long and the go to boat now is a rib with two or three 300 HP outboards hanging on the transom.
