Anyone know this 53 Eagle?

In my search for a boat, everyday on YW I do an advanced search for new listings and this just popped up. Doing the google research, but it would be great to hear from any owners on this particular model, i.e. likes, dislikes, build quality etc. I like the lines, looks like a proper trawler.

We spent about 2 hours on this boat when the owner had it listed FSBO at $285k. It seems to be well made, but the owner has not done any upgrades in 20 years, and the maintenance seemed sketchy as well. Asked when the last oil change was and he didn’t know. Nothing terrible, but I would call it benign neglect. With some effort,upgrades and elbow grease it could be a nice vessel. Not stabilized.

Based on the photos it would appear that Lwerder's assessment is spot-on. I would say check it carefully and if you like it, come in with an offer around 200k. See how motivated the seller is.
