We are taking our new (to us) trawler north next weekend. Planning on leaving first light (8/18) out Pt. Everglades and hugging the coast till north of Palm Beach then a B-line to Charleston Harbor. Plan on running inside from there, to and up the Chesapeake. Looking for anyone with a similar plan or someone who has done the trip at this time of the year for insight.
