Angel 56 (17 meter) advice

I am considering this vessel

Does anyone know this vessel's history, quirks, and where to get more information?
All I can locate on-line is that it was a brief mention here:

Otherwise nothing--except that this identical Angel 56 in Seattle is for sale:

but is in a very sad state.
Anything that the trawler community can tell me about the Angel 56 Flushdeck will be much appreciated.
Thanks already to the Australian Ocean Alexander Mark 1 owners Brian of Insequent and Nick of Aquarius who have already helped me navigate to this vessel--which clearly owes much to the Ocean Alexander Mark 1 design and possibly even the moulds.

The Seattle boat does look like quite a mess. But a lot of it is within the realm of DIY carpentry skills so although its a lot of time, it may not be a huge amount of money to bring her back. And its pretty cheap. I'd be curious if any PNW members have looked at it?

1983 deck coring is probably at best balsa or at worse anything they had lying around the yard.

Dave, both my 1981 IG and Brisboy`s 1983 IG have original foam cored decks. Something other than balsa or rubbish timber offcuts coring is possible,though not all that likely.

Understood,I was very surprised finding it, there was an exposed edge in the lazarette. Full use of it was confirmed during deck renovation. My boat and Brisboy`s are Europas so it could have been confined to them, but I don`t really know. AndyG`s slightly earlier tri cabin boat did not have it.

At $90K the Seattle boat is a heck of a buy.

Make a great live aboard.

Mostly cosmetic except generator and stabalizer. I could live without a stabalizer. A new gen set is $12K.

Exterior is cosmetic. I'd paint the teak white.

If I was 10 years younger, I'd buy it to flip.

That's why I said 10 years ago.

I don't have the stamina anymore either.

Though if I'm working on a fun project, my stamina improves.

Everybody’s idea of acceptable fit and finish is different. The cost to get the Seattle boat up to my standard is greater than what I could purchase an existing acceptable boat for.

Flipping a broker admitted many problem boat after some cosmetic work supports the notion of buyer beware. Not to mention 10,000 hours on the engines, non functioning generator, interior wood bad and shot stabilizers.

Then the unmentioned problems
